Griff Premieres New Song “One Night” on BBC Radio 1
- British singer-songwriter Griff premiered a new song “One Night” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Charli XCX.
It is her first single since the debut mixtape “One Foot in Front of the Other”, which was released back in June.
The track was written by Sarah Faith Griffiths and LOSTBOY, who also produced her smash “Black Hole”.
Griff told Charli XCX about the song, “It's basically it's all about, like, what is it about. I didn't know I was going to bed I'm falling asleep why suddenly like all of your worries or anxieties become like 10 times louder and alert the course is basically just I want one night, it's like you've reached a point of desperation where you're like, I just want one night where I'm away from it. So it's kind of like quite emotional desperate song but it's also like really upbeat and fun and I worked on it with a producer called LOSTBOY who I wrote my last single 'Black Hole' with.”
She has already filmed the music video for the song, which will be premiered soon.
Griff shared on social media, “There have been alot of nights in between going to bed and falling asleep where random anxieties come rushing back and every burden you're carrying suddenly feel more heavy, and this song is about wanting at least one night away from that. Also felt very exciting trying it for the first time with the band.”
