Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Unequal Releases New Song “Take Me Away” featuring Mondo Cozmo
Three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Sardy's project Unequal has unveiled a new song “Take Me Away” with an accompanying music video directed by Jordan Martin.
The track features American singer-songwriter Mondo Cozmo.
Unequal shared, “This is the sound playing in my head when storm surge is washing away neighborhoods and highways and walls of flame are closing in from all directions, and news keeps broadcasting mindless tweets...”
Mondo Cozmo said, “Sardy is a legend to me. I was honored to do this with him. This is easily the best sounding thing I’ve ever done. His level of production is something I can’t wrap my head around. Really humbled to be a part of this song and I think my vocals sound rad.”
Unequal is the brainchild of Dave Sardy, who is known as a producer for The Who, LCD Soundsystem, Oasis, as well as a composer of the films "Zombieland", “Bright” and “End of Watch”.
The first release “Step Ahead” featured Son Little and that was followed up in the fall of 2019 with the release of “Mothman” featuring Alex Maas of The Black Angels.- source : Parade
