  • Sheryl Crow Covers Bob Dylan’s “Everything Is Broken” featuring Jason Isbell

  • American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow's final album “Threads” will be released on August 30, 2019. Recently, she announced that she wont create full-length album after the release of the new album, but she will continue to write and tour.


    From the final album, she released Bob Dylan’s “Everything Is Broken”, following "Still The Good Old Days" with Joe Walsh and "Prove You Wrong" with Stevie Nicks and Maren Morris. She worked with alt-country singer-songwriter Jason Isbell for the song.
    In the past, she has covered Dylan songs like “Mississippi” and “Tombstone Blues”.
    The original version of “Everything Is Broken” was released on Bob Dylan’s 1989 album “Oh Mercy”.
    The new album comprises of 17-track and made up of collaborations with a varied all-star cast that includes, among others, Stevie Nicks, Neil Young, Mavis Staples, Willie Nelson, Brandi Carlile, Sting, Eric Clapton and St. Vincent, even features her performing a duet of "Redemption Day" with the late Johnny Cash.
    “I went in to make this record, sitting at the piano, and Johnny was all over it,” Sheryl Crow said of her inspiration to recast “Redemption Day”. “I feel like the song has found its moment,” she said.
