Kehlani Releases New Mixtape “While We Wait”: Streaming
American singer-songwriter Kehlani released her third mixtape “While We Wait” on February 22, 2019.
The mixtape comprises of 9-track and features guest appliances from Musiq Soulchild, Dom Kennedy, Ty Dolla Sign and 6lack.
The mixtape was made during her pregnancy (Kehlani’s daughter is due in March) and features collection of pop, rap, and ’90s R&B.
One day before of the release the mixtape, she revealed “Footsteps” with Musiq Soulchild. The song contains an interpolation of "Ice Box", as performed by Omarion.
The mixtape follows up her debut album “SweetSexySavage”, which was released in 2017 and reached No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 and No.5 on UK R&B Albums chart.- source : Pitchfork
