Niia Premieres New Song “Sideline”
New York-based pianist and singer-songwriter Niia Bertino, aka Niia has released a new song "Sideline". The song was premiered exclusively on STEREOGUM.
The track is taken from her long-awaited debut album "I". She has already three sings from the album like "Bored To Death", "Hurt You First" and "Last Night In Los Feliz".
The new album is scheduled to be released on May 5, 2017. Produced by longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Robin Hannibal.
Niia Bertino started singing at the of 13, influenced by Jazz and R&B. She was selected by the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts as one of the top 100 singers, and the national winner in the jazz voice category National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Recognition when she was 17.
She joined in Wyclef Jean's "Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)" with Akon and Lil Wayne in 2007. The song peaked at #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
In 2014, she released a debut EP "Generation Blue".-
