glaive Releases New Song “all i do is try my best”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Ash Gutierrez, aka glaive will release his upcoming debut album “i care so much that i dont care at all” on July 14, 2023 via Interscope Records.
The album comprises 13-track, in which glaive recorded in a windowless garage with a studio dog and no air conditioning in Los Angeles.
“I care so much that I dont care at all is my debut album,” glaive said of the album. “I recorded this album in a windowless garage in Los Angeles (a city I don’t particularly like) while simultaneously trying to decide who and what I wanted to be, and how I wanted to present that to other people. It’s a collection of feelings and thoughts that I had over the last three years. It sounds super cringe to say, but I suppose it is my life’s work, or at least it has been what I’ve spent my life working on, so far.”
From the album, he unveiled the third single called “all i do is try my best” on June 7, 2023, following "as if" and "i'm nothing that's all i am".
The track was written by Ash Gutierrez, Jeff Hazin, and Ralph Castelli. Produced by Jeff Hazin and Ralph Castelli.
The accompanying music video was directed by Adrian Villagomez.
glaive embarks on his headline tour in North America, the UK and Europe.
The tour kicks off at The Fillmore in San Francisco on July 27, 2023 and will conclude at Frannz in Berlin on November 21, 2023.
