Montreal-based singer-songwriter Annabel Gutherz released a new song “Interstellar” on November 9, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to “Life on Mars”, which was released back in September.
Also, the track will appear on her upcoming EP, which is her first project since the 2021 debut album “Loose Ends”.
On the track, she worked with producer Dominique Messier, who also produced her debut album.
Annabel Gutherz said of the song, “In a relationship, many times you can feel like a star in your partner's universe — special, seen, and cherished. In the case that the relationship ends, you fall from their constellation, alone again and lost amongst a sky of wandering stars. 'Interstellar' is a song about just that and struggling with the tug-of-war dynamic between emotional dualities in the reverberations of a breakup. I wanted to honor the full scope of emotions and thus leaned into a very theatrical production.
