Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Great Good Fine Ok Drops Studio Live Video for “Gone” featuring Transviolet
Back in May, Brooklyn-based synth-pop duo Great Good Fine Ok released their new EP “GGFOUR” for the first time in two years.
The duo dropped the studio live video for “Gone” on July 16th from the EP. The song was released on May 31st, featuring American alt-rock band Transviolet.
This marks the first time the duo and Transviolet worked together. It was written by Alex Delicata, Jon Sandler and Luke Moellman.
A half of the duo, Jon Sandler said of the song, "Gone started out as a breakup song, but evolved into a more general salute to any kind of loss. The feeling of now youre gone, and I dont feel very much like me is something Ive felt many times in the past year. I recently lost my father and my cat. We wrote this song before those things happened, and despite many of the lyrics being about a failed relationship, I cant hear or sing the song without thinking of these losses. In that sense, for me personally, it feels like our most meaningful song.”
