SKOLES Releases Debut Song “Am I Going Too Crazy?”
London-based alt-pop band SKOLES debuted with their first single “Am I Going Too Crazy?” back in July.
Originally, the band was formed formed by singer- songwriter Jack Edwards as Wild Wild Horses, but they changed the name to SKOLES. At the first, the band consisted of 4-piece, however currently the band is composed of Jack Edwards and Billy Adamson.
In the past, Jack Edwards was invited to open for Christina Perri at the O2 Shepherd. Also he has worked as a songwriter for artists such as Charlie Puth.
Jack Edwards said of the song, “When something is over that you’ve been trying to keep alive for a long time, there’s always this sense of ‘I could have handled myself so much better.’ I felt like I’d hurt a lot of people all at once, and it all got a bit much. I wanted to write something totally honest about that part of my life. It was really sh*t.”- On September 26th, a new music video for the song was premiered exclusively on Billboard. The video was directed by Joe Mischo.
“My team and I had the general idea for this video pretty early on in the production process while I was working on the song,” Jack Edwards told Billboard. “It’s desperate and driving, and the song is about the guilt of trying to keep something going no matter how much it was costing me psychologically and emotionally. It had to be raw, visceral and desperate to match that.” - source : Billboard
