Chicago-based EDM artist DJ Scandalous has shared a new music video for “Move On”. The video was premiered exclusively on AXS.
The song was released back in July following previous single "Why Did I Love You".
The clip draws that an elderly married couple consider whether they should divorce or not. The video was filmed by Mark Weimers of 24Frames in St. Louis, Missouri over the span of one day.
DJ Scandalous said of the video’s inspiration:
"The song is about an ex-girlfriend who ended the relationship and, after several months, decided she wanted to get back together again. The concept for the music video is different and was written, obviously, for entertainment purposes. It was filmed in St. Louis, MO by Mark Weimers of 24Frames. The two actors are Marilee Wright and Wayne Ault, and they attempt to do current dance moves which I showed them.”- DJ Scandalous will release an instrumental mixtape album called "When You’re Broke And Can’t Afford Singers" in August or early September.
Also, he plans to release a full-length studio album “I Don’t Care Anymore” at the end of October.
To date, DJ Scandalous has worked with numerous performers including, Stevie Wonder, Cyndi Lauper, Raynard Miner, Red Café, Trina, Mistah F.A.B., Jadakiss, Styles P, and others.
In 2014, he released his solo EP “Another Day In Paradise”. -
