Moira Mack Premieres Debut Song “I Worry I Worry” on SoundCloud
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Moira Mack has released a debut song "I Worry I Worry" via streaming music services.
Her sound blends jazz, R&B and soul music like Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Kelela.
About the debut song, Moira Mack told Purple Melon in an interview;
"My first release, ‘I Worry I Worry,’ is the product of 22 years of introspective anxiety and an obsession with jazz and soul music. The words ‘I worry that I worry’ perfectly explain my penchant for over analyzing; it is this anxiety that has delayed my public release of original material until now.
On the other hand, the musical aspects of this song are influenced by the likes of Sam Cooke, Amy Winehouse, Moses Sumney and Hiatus Kaiyote, all of whom express themselves with such an unapologetic passion. Using their catalogs to find confidence, along with the aid of my incredible producer and longtime friend, Will Van Boldrik, I have finally broken through those inhibitions to release this single."- Moira Mack is the 22-year old, currently studying in USC Thornton School of Music’s Popular Music Program. Her music is infrenced from Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, Blake Mills and Sigur Rós.
She will perform live at The Love Song Bar in Los Angeles on September 22. She plans to embark the tour in Brazil in December 2017.
