Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter and former Timeflies, Cal Shapiro, aka CAL released a new song “Roll the Credits” on October 22, 2021.
The song is his fourth single of 2021, following “In the Water” with Quinn XCII, “It's All Good” and “Goodbye, Me”.
The track was written by Cal Shapiro, Lina Hansson and Kris Eriksson. Produced by Cal Shapiro and Kris Eriksson.
“I wrote this song from the perspective of a close friend who was staring down the barrel of a brutal breakup,” Cal Shapiro said of the song. “It's really easy to hear someone else's story and give them advice because you don't have all the baggage and intricacies of a long emotional relationship. But after hearing what I heard all I could say was, you're just dragging this thing out cuz you don't know what the end will look like—but from here it's lookin like it's already over.
