Los Angeles-based DJ trio Cheat Codes, consisting of Kevin Ford, Trevor Dahl, and Matthew Russell, released their debut album “HELLRAISERS, Part 1” on May 7, 2021.
The album title pays tribute to their late manager Michael Theanne, who passed away in 2020. “Hellraisers” is the nickname given to the group by Michael Theanne.
The debut album is the first part of trilogy. The first part is a pop-oriented sound, the second part is a hip-hop flavor, and the third part is a dance-influenced sound.
The album features guest appearances from Tinashe, Marc E. Bassy, Bryce Vine, CXLOE, Lil Xxel, Au/Ra and AJ Mitchell.
