Catie Turner Returns With New Song “One Day”
Los Angeles based singer-songwriter and American Idol alumna, Catie Turner returned with a new song “One Day”. It is her first single in a year.
“The concept for ‘One Day’ stemmed from when my then-boyfriend proposed to me on the bathroom floor,” Catie Turner said. “Music is beautiful because I can make it sound like I was SO shocked and overwhelmed – LOVE IS WEIRD, OK. So this is a song about what it would be like from the perspective of a sane person.”
Catie Turner participated in American Idol sixteenth season and debuted with “21st Century Machine” in 2018.
Her debut EP “The Sad Vegan” was released as an independent artist in 2019.
Recently, she signed to Atlantic Records. The new song is her first single under major label returning.- source : American Songwriter
