Paloma Faith Releases New Song “Last Night on Earth”
- British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith has released a new song “Last Night on Earth”.
The song is the second single off ofhe upcoming fifth studio album “Infinite Things”, following “Better Than This”.
It was written by Paloma Faith, Josh Record and Patrick Wimberly. Produced by Nathaniel Ledwidge.
The album is out November 13th and is her first LP in three years. It contains 13-track, she co-wrote the songs with Faouzia, MNEK and Josef Salvat.
She wrote most of the songs for the album before the Covid-19 pandemic swept the world.
Also, before the announce of the new album, she revealed she was pregnant with her second child.
She shared, “Had a scan last week. I am scanning a lot as I am high risk and she said my placenta was a bit low and she hopes it will come up again. Well, I think I've got some kind of post-traumatic syndrome 'cause all I could do is google and worry, and google and worry. When she said it will probably rectify itself I was so far gone with my fatalism that I couldn't even register the optimism. This is what I mean when I say pregnancy is a time of anxiety for me. Not that I don't “like it” (daily fail) ... It's more nuanced and complex than love or hate, like most things in life. There are the grey areas... All I want is a healthy baby and for me to be well, as I have to be for my family.”
