Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Alexander Stewart Releases New Song “broken by you”
Back in December 2023, Los Angeles-based Canadian singer-songwriter Alexander Stewart released his latest EP “if you only knew”, including his smash hit “i wish you cheated”.
Following the EP, he released the first single of 2024 called “broken by you” on March 8, 2024.
On the track, he takes up-tempo approach unlike his previous songs.
The track was written by Alexander Stewart, Corey Sanders, Nolan Sipe, and The Nocturns, who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Nick and Pat Demarais.
“‘broken by you’ was written in the depths of me trying to find a silver lining in a heartbreak that I knew was already coming,” Alexander Stewart said of the song. “Sometimes you reach a point in a relationship when you’ve done all that you can to fight for the other person, and realizing that can feel just as freeing as it does heartbreaking. I can’t wait to play this song live, along with the many more that are to come. This is just the beginning!”- Alexander Stewart embarks on The Bleeding Hearts Tour. The tour kicks off at House of Blues Houston in Houston, TX on May 7, and will conclude at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco, CA on June 9, 2024.
