Earlier this month, American singer-songwriter Billy Joel returned with a new song “Turn the Lights Back On” for the first time in 17 years.
He first performed the song at the 2024 Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024.
After the Grammy, he dropped a new music video for the song directed by Warren Fu and Freddy Wexler.
The video utilizes groundbreaking technology from Deep Voodoo, and showcases Billy Joel performing the beloved track throughout the different decades of his life.
The track was written by Freddy Wexler, Arthur LaFrentz Bacon, Billy Joel, and Wayne Hector. Produced by Freddy Wexler, co-produced by PARISI, and additional production by Emile Haynie.- Billy Joel shared a video at the Grammy rehearsals with American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo on social media.
