Maisy Kay Releases New Song “Sunlight”
Los Angeles-based British singer-songwriter Maisy Kay released a new song “Sunlight” on February 14, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to Dutch DJ Tiësto's remix of her 2022 single “Karma Is A Bitch Like You” and a cover of British singer-songwriter Kate Bush's “Running Up That Hill”.
The track was written by Maisy Kay Kendrick and produced by Mike Avenaim.
Maisy Kay said of the song, “'Sunlight' is a song I wrote about someone I met who felt like sunshine personified. I wanted to write about the gentle, small things that make love so wonderful. For example, I didn't drink coffee, but I got a coffee machine so I could make this person coffee in the mornings because I knew they liked it. Something as simple as holding hands in the afternoon became something grand and wondrous, and I think 'Sunlight' is the truest love song I have ever written.”- source : Apple Music
