Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Daniel Ellsworth will release his upcoming EP “What” on July 14, 2023.
The EP comprises 5-track and is his first fully self-produced, self-mixed solo release.
From the EP, he has released the second single called “Blurry”, following “Lost In The Rhythm”.
The track was written and produced by Daniel Ellsworth Mathews.
Daniel Ellsworth said of the song, “This is a song about being so completely enamored with someone that everytime you see them the room starts to spin, you start seeing colors, and everything around you starts to blur. I wrote and recorded 'Blurry' when I was listening to a ton of Anderson .Paak. The way he incorporates R&B, pop, hip-hop, gospel, jazz, and soul into everything he creates is wildly inspiring. Coming from years in the indie rock world, I wanted to try to push myself to do something in that arena. I do a lot more in this world now in my project DARKMINDS that I have with Christopher 'C4' Umana, but at the time that I wrote and recorded this it was new for me.”- Photo by Beth Mathews
