AVIV Returns With New Song “Jimmy's House”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Aviv Cohen, aka AVIV returned with a new song “Jimmy's House” on May 12, 2023.
It is her first music in a year since the 2022 EP “DROWNING IN THE CULTURE”.
The track was written by Aviv Cohen and Jackson Phillips, and produced by Robbie Lackritz.
She shared on social media, “this is my first song in a year and holy it feels good. this song is part of many I worked so so hard on. It's always weird when the little project you've been working on for so long finally starts to fizzle out into the world.”
Aviv Cohen described the single as “a song about worry, particularly anxiety caused by physical distance. We grow so used to that person always being there and when they aren't, and you're left alone, you become lost.”
She embarks on her first-ever U.S. tour this May and June, supporting music duo Joan on their Superglue tour.
