Céline Dion Releases New Song “I'll Be” from New Film “Love Again” Soundtrack
Canadian singer-songwriter Céline Dion has starred in a new romantic comedy-drama film “Love Again”, which was released on May 5, 2023.
In her first film role, she played as a fictionalized version of herself.
From the soundtrack of the film, she unveiled a new song “I'll Be” on May 5, 2023.
The song is the second single off of the soundtrack, following “Love Again” released last month.
The track was written by Dan Wilson and Rosaileen Scher. Produced by Dan Wilson and Sara Mulford.
“I had a lot of fun doing this movie. And to have the privilege of appearing with the beautiful and talented actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan in my very first feature film is a gift that I will cherish forever,” Céline Dion said in a statement. “I think it's a wonderful feel-good story, and I hope that people will like it, and like the new songs too.”
The film “Love Again” is an English-language remake of the 2016 German film “SMS für Dich”, itself based on a novel by Sofie Cramer.
The film was directed by James C. Strouse, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Heughan, Nick Jonas, and Celine Dion.- The soundtrack comprises 14-track, including her five new songs and six of her past hits, as well as three of the film's score selections. It is set to be released on May 12, 2023.
The new songs mark her first English-language releases since the 2019 album “Courage” as well as her official return to music since being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome.
Céline Dion said of her ill, “I've been dealing with my health for a long time, and it's been really difficult for me to face these challenges and talk to about the things that I've been going through. Recently, I have been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome, which affects something like one-in-a-million people.
