Yeo Returns With New Song “SHAKE”
Melbourne-based producer Yeo Choong, aka Yeo returned with a new song “SHAKE” on March 17, 2023.
Alongside the single’s release, a spatial audio version of the song debuted on Apple Music.
Yeo said of this new experimentation, “It's a learning curve. I like that there are limits, forcing you to be decisive. My aim was to create a sonic environment that was fun, trying to involve the listener, and effectively fill the new space available.”
The song will appear on his upcoming album “TIRED”, which is expected to be released in 2023.
It was written and produced by Yeo. He described the range of emotions he felt while writing “SHAKE” as “Frustration, anger, alternating between high confidence and low self-worth”.
He continued, “I don't think I've written so explicitly before. When I listen back I think....man, sounds like I'm seething.”
