British singer-songwriter Lola Young announced her second project “My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely” would be released on May 26, 2023.
It is her first project in four years since 2019 debut project “Intro”.
The project comprises 10-track, produced by Cass Lowe and Manuka.
From the project, she premiered a new song “Annabel's House” on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The track was written by Lola Young, and Cass Lowe who also produced it.
Lola Young told Clara Amfo about the song, “This song is like a love triangle thing. It's like if I was like sleeping with a guy who had a girlfriend and it's like deep. Not that often in real life. In the song, that's all personal. So but, as a deep song, and it's a lot of vulnerability in there but I thought to be of music sometimes. It's about putting something out there which feels raw, it feels a PC, you feel something that other people are gonna go 'Oh, yeah, I've had that'. That's really beautiful. I feel like music does that you know to people.”- She shared on social media, “I am so proud of this song, she grew and changed and blossomed into the beauty she is and just gotta give a massive thank you to everyone who has given it love so far, and for being patient with me. Big up Cass Lowe for producing this gem, and being a rock all throughout. 🥺"
