Norwegian singer-songwriter Bjarte de Presno Borthen, aka dePresno released a new song “Loser in the Night” on January 6, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to the 2022 singles “Silence” and “Make Me Feel Your Love”.
Three songs will appear on his upcoming fourth studio album.
It was written by Bjarte de Presno Borthen and produced by Odd Martin.
Bjarte de Presno Borthen said of the song, “It lays bare the heartache and confusion that comes with being rejected by someone you love and more so grappling with the desire to be with someone who isn’t really yours to be. Despite the sadness and confusion at the core of the song, I feel like the vocals and melodies give 'Loser In The Night' a sense of hope and resilience.”- The new album is expected to be released in 2023. It is his first project in two years since the 2021 album “Places”.
The latest chapter is paved with light at the end of the tunnel offering a unique insight into his mind.
He said, “These are among the most intimately personal songs I have ever composed and they offer a glimpse in my inner world – exploring both the profound and mundane.” -
