Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Zac Brown Band & James Taylor Team Up for New Song “Love and Sunsets”
American country music band Zac Brown Band joined forces with American singer-songwriter James Taylor to release a new song “Love and Sunsets” on September 2, 2022.
The song will appear on the deluxe edition of the band's seventh studio album “The Comeback”, which is set to be released on October 15, 2022.
It was written by Zac Brown, Ben Simonetti and Luke Dick.
The track features James Taylor's son Henry Taylor as background vocals. Also, James Taylor played the guitar on the track
Last October, Zac Brown Band released the album “The Comeback”, featuring guest appearances from Marcus King and Gregory Porter.
Zac Brown told Apple Music about the album, “This one was definitely more of an intentional one, because we set out to write everything for this. And when we boiled down all the songs that we'd written, and we left off a good 10 songs that we didn't record on this to try to make that journey, we knew that the best ones would stick out.”
The deluxe edition of the album comprises 21-track, including the previous 15-track and six new songs.
A portion of the proceeds of the album to benefit “Hop On A Cure” to help fund research toward ending amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
John Driskell Hopkins, who is the bassist and co-founder of Zac Brown band, recently announced that he was diagnosed with ALS.- source : Apple Music
