Thomas Headon Premieres New Song “Strawberry Kisses” on BBC Radio 1
- London-based Australian singer-songwriter Thomas Headon premiered a new song “Strawberry Kisses” along with a music video on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Clara Amfo.
The song follows up “Bored”, which was released back in March.
It was written by Thomas Headon. Produced by Thomas Headon and Alexander von Ameln.
Thomas Headon told Clara Amfo about the song, “I wrote it in Berlin ages ago. This is probably like pre COVID. It's basically just a song about like spending a night with someone that you didn't really easily end up with. Because they're like super hard you lead, and then suddenly know they're not out of you lead anymore. And that was great. And it's fun. So it's been sitting just as like a guitar demo for ages.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Thomas Headon himself and Jordan Curtis Hughes.
He said of the video, “I think it was definitely like first day violence we just what we wanted so much energy. I was originally gonna go skydiving and then there was a lot of logistical problems around skydiving. So we started with theme park instead but it's so much fun. I had like the camera strapped to me like the whole day was really happy.”
