Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ L Devine Premieres New Song “Don’t Say It” on BBC Radio 1
British singer-songwriter Olivia Devine, aka L Devine premiered a new song “Don’t Say It” on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Mac Hottest Record.
The track follows up “Boring People” released back in January.
It was written by Rogét Chahayed, L Devine and John Hill. Produced by Rogét Chahayed and John Hill.
She explained of the song, “‘Don’t Say It’ is about when someone tells you they love you but they don’t mean it, they’re just telling you what you want to hear. It’s about how beautiful the lie is and how much you try to believe it, but the truth always reveals itself and hurts you. I love the way these feelings are depicted in the music too. There’s such an interesting use of space in the song and the contrasts between tranquillity and chaos in the music really reflect the lyrics.”- source : BBC Radio 1
