New York-based R&B/Pop singer-songwriter Xav A. has delivered a new song “Old Milk” via SoundCloud.
The song is included on the EP of the same title. It was written and produced by Xav A.
The track is late '80s sound with rhythmic synth. It reminds us of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer".
"I was watching a lot of reality TV where I saw women staying in relationships where they knew the man was doing them wrong," Xav A. said of the song. "I thought to myself, why do men not encourage their women to leave when they know they're doing something wrong? This song sort of explores the idea of telling a woman that the man she is with is no good for her. Women deserve that from us I feel."
Xav A. entered NBC’s cappella competition show "The Sing Off" in 2011, and finished runner-up. He released a debut EP "Full Circle" including "Unconditionally", "Lazy" and "Understand" in 2016.
