Phantoms Premieres New Music Video for “Lay With Me” featuring Vanessa Hudgens
Los Angeles-based EDM duo Phantoms has dropped a new music video for “Lay With Me” featuring American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens.
The video was directed by The DADS. It was inspired from Vanessa Hudgens' famous 2006 American musical television film "High School Musical".
The song was released last month and written by Clara Hagman, Neil Ormandy, Kyle Kaplan, Vincent Pergola and Cassandra Ströberg.
The track is the duo's second single of the 2018, following "Agenda" featuring Nicole Millar.
Phantoms is composed of Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola. Both have been friends since the age of 15 in the Disney. Also Kyle Kaplan featured in Hannah Montana.
The duo debuted with the first EP "Broken Halo" in 2015. In 2017, the duo released self-titled debut album.- “We grew up with Vanessa then weirdly ran into her at the airport last year and talked about working on music at some point,” Phantoms said of the song in a press release. “Then a few months later we got in the studio and recorded this song. It was a cool way to reconnect since the last time we all hung out we were around 16 years old. So happy this song is finally out, it’s one of our favorites.”
