- SAARA Premieres New Song “Superpowers”
- Finnish singer-songwriter Sara Maria Forsberg, aka SAARA has delivered a new song "Superpowers" via Spotify.
The song was written by SAARA and Teemu Brunila, produced by Hank Solo. It follows up "Permission To Love", which was released in January 2017.
SAARA is better known for her comedic persona, makeup, singing abilities, and skill with languages and pseudo-languages.
She has worked with Lucasfilm to create the alien language used in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Also she has created another alien language for "Star Trek Beyond", in which she has also a minor voice role as an alien named Kalara.
She signed to Capitol Records in 2014, released debut song "Ur Cool". Her debut album "Hello I'm Saara" was released in 2016.
Recently, SAARA launched hosting "Remotely Funny", which is a British game show on CBBC.
About the song, she wrote on her webpage;
"It’s about falling in love with your childhood best friend and not telling them and being taunted by that. I love this song so much – it’s reminiscing yet hopeful and it has a killer drop. The drop makes me feel like I’m in the jungle. Riding down a waterfall on my double bass I never had."
