That was the day I assumed a role as protector and almost older brother figure to Chester that has lasted since, even after his passing.”
The album “Amends” features re-recorded versions of old songs, with Chester Bennington’s original vocals still in place. It is set to be released on April 10th via Loma Vista Recordings.
Chester Bennington’s widow, Talinda Bennington told Rolling Stone in an interview, “[Chester] wanted to do Grey Daze again because the music was awesome, he loved it back then, and he was excited to be able to create … he had accomplished so much and come so far since then – he was excited about it.”
