American Idol alumnus and singer-songwriter, Colton Dixon is back. He released with a new song “Miracles” for the first time in three years.
The track is accompanied by a music video and is his Atlantic Record's debut.
“‘Miracles’ is a song that has meaning and depth, but it just feels fun musically,” Colton Dixon said. “Some things are more than coincidence. I believe there is a God who loves you and looking out for you. I’m pointing out to others that there’s more to life than meets the eye. I believe miracles happen all around us. I’d like to encourage all of us to slow down a bit, so we can see and appreciate the miracles for what they are.”- It was written by busbee, Michael J. Ade and Colton Dixon. He explained process of creating the song, "The song began when [Michael] Jade came in with his acoustic guitar and started singing the line, “How do miracles happen just like that?" We explored the idea of maybe there’s more than meets the eye. I think if we slowed down life a little bit, we’d be able to see and appreciate miracles for what they are and that’s what the song is about.”
