- Christine and the Queens Premieres New Music Video for “Doesn't matter”
- French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, aka Christine and the Queens announced a new album "Chris" release date. On the same day, she dropped a new music video for “Doesn't matter” directed by Colin SOLAL CARDO.
The album comprises of 11-track and is set to be released on September 21, 2018. It is her first LP in four years.
She described that the album focuses on her existence as a “grownass woman." It is entirely self-written, self-produced and self-arranged.
Héloïse Letissier said of the new album in a statement, “Chaleur Humaine was about teenage years, most of it. Loneliness, really true feelings, and there is a softness in the way I wrote as well, because I was properly introducing myself. [Chris] gets to be a bit more exhilarating, because I get to say, okay, I've been introduced now. I get to be more confident, and it matches what happened in my life as a woman.”
She added about the new song, “Doesn’t Matter” is a crisis song that I wrote late one night. This song is a cathedral, with a rhythm as unalterable as white stone. The bass line, I remember playing it for hours, as if to rock myself."
She embarks on the tour in support of the album in Europe and North America. The tour kicks off at Rockhal in Luxembourg on October 11th.
