John Newman Premieres New Music Video for “Fire In Me”
London-based singer-songwriter John Newman released a new song “Fire In Me” with a accompanying music video, directed by Ozzie Pullin, on March 9, 2018.
The song is his first single in two years since Calvin Harris-produced “Ole”. The track is taken from his forthcoming third studio album. It was written by John Newman, Phil Plested, James Newman and David Mørup.
Originally, the song was supposed to release in 2017, but it was unfortunately delayed due to needing a few finishing touches with the aim of making the song the best it could be for fans. Eventually revived when John Newman issued a countdown on February 7, 2018
The video filmed at the Vulcan ABC Boxing Club and The Tranby Club in Hull.
John Newman said of the song;
"I’ve got new music, lots of it as well. I’m bombarding you. I’ve been hiding and writing and just waiting until the time is right to release loads. I’ve lost the pressure, it’s been too long. I’ve taken time away, I’m making music I want to make. I’ve always been doing that but I felt like I lost myself a little. But it feels good to be back."-
