Rebecca Black Releases New EP “Rebecca Black Was Here”: Streaming
American YouTuber and singer-songwriter Rebecca Black released the second EP “Rebecca Black Was Here” on June 16, 2021.
The EP comprises of 6-track, including preceding singles “Girlfriend”, “Personal” and “Worth It For The Feeling”.
Produced by Ceci G, Cody Tarpley, Glitch Gum, Joshua Murty and Micah Jasper.
The EP is celebrating her 10th anniversary of debut. She debuted with “Friday” in 2011.
“Not only does it feel like such an incredible emotional release to have what I've been working on for the past year and a half out in the world, now is the first time I feel like I've proved to myself I can really do this,” Rebecca Black said of the EP in a statement. “I have spent the past 10 years constantly questioning myself and asking myself if I was really able to ever overcome my own insecurities. Now looking at this project completely finished, I couldn't be more proud of what I have been able to create with some of the most talented and kind team I've known. Truth is, I couldn't have made this project without having experienced what I have in my past, and I am finally able to celebrate that for myself.”- She embarks on her headline tour in support of the EP in North America in early 2022. The tour is her first-ever string of headlining gigs.
The tour kicks off at Union Stage in Washington, DC on January 13, 2022 and will conclude at Troubadour in Los Angeles, CA on January 21, 2022. Alice Longyu Gao will support the tour.
“I've spent a lot of time opening up for other people,” she said. “I'm so excited to be out there and to curate the show exactly how I want to.” - source : Spotify
