Nicole Kidman released a cover of “Dream a Little Dream of Me” from her latest TV miniseries “The Undoing” soundtrack.
“The Undoing” is based on the 2014 novel “You Should Have Known” by Jean Hanff Korelitz. The first episode aired on October 25th. Directed by Susanne Bier, starring Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, Édgar Ramírez, Noah Jupe, Lily Rabe, Matilda De Angelis, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Edan Alexander, Michael Devine and Donald Sutherland.
The original version of the song was released by Ozzie Nelson in 1931. It was written by Fabian Andre, Wilbur Schwandt and Gus Kahn.
This time, Nicole Kidman's version is used as the opening credits theme song of the film.
Nicole Kidman said how the cover came, “So about a month before we're about to lock picture, [director] Susanne Bier calls me and says, 'Um, I've had an idea, I want you to record the title sequence.'
