Black Pistol Fire Releases New Song “Hope in Hell”
Austin-based rock duo Black Pistol Fire, consisting of Kevin McKeown (Guitar/Lead Vocals) and Eric Owen (Drums), released a new song “Hope in Hell” on August 28th.
They recorded the song almost 2 years ago. Last month, the duo unveiled homemade version of the song.
This time, the song was released as the official version. Written and produced by Kevin McKeown.
“I was wrestling with a lot of things in my life when I was writing the song and the words,” says Kevin McKeown. “Part of it is about the internal battle everyone experiences, and then another part is about that struggle you go through as a band, because Eric and I have learned over the years that you have to give up a lot in order to gain a lot. It takes a lot of inspiration and drive if you want to do this.”
The duo will release their sixth studio album on Black Hill Records in 2021. The band has finished the new album with co-producer and engineer Jacob Sciba and mixer Vance Powell.- source : Consequenceofsound
