Deacon Shares Debut Song “Long Run” featuring Nina Nesbitt
- American actress Reese Witherspoon's son Deacon Phillippe, aka Deacon debuted with his firs single “Long Run”.
The 16-year-old EDM producer teamed up with Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt for the song.
It was written by Petey, Deacon, Nina Nesbitt, SHY Martin and Fredrik Häggstam.
Nina Nesbitt said of the song, “I wrote the first version of ‘Long Run’ with SHY Martin and Fredrik Häggstam in my second homeland, Sweden, last year, before Deacon and Petey turned it into the banging version it is now! I’ve never written so many songs I love in such a short space of time but this song is the first of many to come from writing over in Sweden. There has been something magical about learning more about the other part of my heritage and it’s inspired a lot of my new album (which has now been pushed to 2021) but I can’t wait for you to hear it! P.S. we took this whilst writing my favourite new song on the album lol”
“So proud of my son @deaconphillippe... his first single with the incredibly talented @ninanesbitt is out now!” Reese Witherspoon wrote. “It's the perfect summer bop with a sick beat and dope drops (is that what the kids say?!).”
