The Weeknd Performs “Blinding Lights” & “Scared To Live” on Saturday Night Live
- Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform “Blinding Lights” and unreleased song “Scared To Live”.
This marks the third time he has been as a musical guest on sketch TV show since 2014.
Both songs is included on his upcoming fourth studio album “After Hours”, which is due out March 20th.
“Blinding Lights” was released last November, featuring in a Mercedes Benz TV advert.
“Scared To Live” was performed for the first time on TV.
The album “After Hours” follows his Grammy-winning album “Starboy” in 2016. “I feel confident with where I'm taking this [new] record. There's also a very committed vision and character being portrayed and I get to explore a different side of me that my fans have never seen," The Weeknd told told CR Men about the album. “It felt fitting for me to put it out. I play a character in the video who becomes compromised and then overcompensates with all the sins that Vegas provides. It's a great introduction to the next chapter of my life.”
