  • Moonchild Announces New EP “Reflections”, Shares New Single “Money (Acoustic)”

  • Los Angeles-based alt-R&B trio Moonchild, consisting of Amber Navran (vocals), Andris Mattson (keyboard/alto saxophone) and Max Bryk (keyboard/alto saxophone/guitar), has announced their new EP “Reflections” will be released on November 10, 2023.

On the new EP, the band reimagined their old songs, including some of the trio's biggest hits. The EP comprises 6-track.
Max Bryk said of the EP, “Reflections, an EP covering our older songs, naturally shows some of our growth as musicians over the last 10 years. Amber's vocals, in particular, are a fantastic example of that. A more subtle example of growth is our musical maturity and restraint. Leaving space for the music to breathe. I think that's the main reason we created this new project, and we are excited to share Reflections with our fans.”
  • From the EP, the band unveiled an acoustic version of “Money” on September 12, 2023.
The original version of the song is featured on the 2019 album “Little Ghost”.
Amber Navran said of the song, “Moonchild started as a horn section. One of our favorite parts about playing live is playing our horns together and picking up on the nuances and personality each person adds to the lines that eventually become a part of the song. We've been playing this arrangement of “Money” live for four years now and it's grown along the way into what you hear on this record. We hope you enjoy!”
