Post Malone Releases New Album “AUSTIN”
American singer-songwriter Austin Richard Post, aka Post Malone released his fifth studio album “AUSTIN” on July 28, 2023 via Mercury Records/Republic Records.
For Post Malone, it is his first project to not feature any guest appearances.
Also, the album was made in the aftermath of moving to Salt Lake City and is the first record since the May 2022 birth of his daughter.
Post Malone told Apple Music, “Having a baby really put a lot into perspective, and it's really slowed me down a lot party-wise, going out and being crazy. But it's the most beautiful thing.”
The album comprises 17-track, produced by Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, and his frequent collaborator Louis Bell.
Post Malone said of the album, “It's been some of the funnest music, [and] some of the most challenging and rewarding music. For me, at least. [I've been] trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff. I played guitar on every song on the record, and it was a really, really fun experience.”
He continued to Apple Music, “It was a really eye-opening experience for me in how I could write music.”
He added, “It's super cathartic to be able to tell your story and then reach out to people who maybe have gone or are going through it, [to] at least bring joy through music.”- 0RkLROuLtxs
