Loveless Releases New Song “I Hope I'm Not Sick”
Los Angeles-based rock duo Loveless, consisting of Julian Comeau (vocals) and Dylan Tirapelli-Jamail (multi-instrumental), released a new song “I Hope I'm Not Sick” on June 20, 2023.
The song is their first own music since the 2022 album “End of an era”. Also, it is their first single under their new label BMG. The duo signed to BMG back in February.
The song offers an introspective exploration of the emotional landscape encountered while navigating mental health challenges.
The track was written by Nicholas Morzov, Julian Comeau, Dylan Tirapelli-Jamail, and Stephen Haaker. Produced by Julian Comeau and Nick Morzov.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jake Johnston.
“Sick came from a time when I thought my anxiety and depression were at their worst,” Julian Comeau said of the song. “For years, I pretended I was fine and that everything was okay, even when I was dealing with excruciating mental anguish and the fear that it was never-ending. Writing this song allowed me to break free from that fear and accept that my mental illness is a part of me that I need to deal with head-on, and not be afraid to face it. I hope it brings others a similar solace.”
