Turkish-American singer-songwriter Ela Ozturk released a new song “Circle Back To Me” on January 27, 2023.
The song is her first single of 2023, and follows up “Roots” released last November.
The track is a heartfelt song with unique ethereal sounds with heartfelt piano and a cadence of accenting strings and drums tucked softly into the background.
It was written by Ela Ozturk and Morgan Clae, produced by Morgan Clae, and mixed by Tommy Sanker.
Ela Ozturk said of the song, “Circle back to me is about longing for a young love once had and now lost. It's about wanting the person to find a way to come back into your life even though you've both moved on, are older and no longer young and foolish -essentially it's about the one who got away”- She shared on social media, “I love how vulnerable this song is! this record is about the 'one who got away' and hoping for them to comeback into your life even when so much time has passed and you've both grown apart, I hope you all enjoy it!”
