Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Stephanie Hatzinikolis released a new song “Savor Me” from her upcoming EP “Mockingbird Days”.
On the track, she focuses on a failing relationship, a failing world, and her bittersweet struggle for strength and perseverance.
The song was written by Stephanie Hatzinikolis and produced by Greg "Killah Cortez".
She recorded the song at New Monkey Studio in Van Nuys, CA.
Stephanie Hatzinikolis shared on social media, “This morning, a massive wave of gratitude hit me and teared me up thinking about all the friends I've met on my musical journey since the days of playing coffee shops in Spokane, WA all the way to this release day. This adventure in music has been the most profound and surreal experience I could ever embark on while on this planet.”
She continued, “I wouldn't and couldn't do what I do on my own but above all, I am here today because of so many people (friends, family, fans) this one's for you and I hope you enjoy the new song.”
The new EP is set to be released on November 11, 2022.- The accompanying music video was directed by Alejandro Montoya Marin.
She said of the video, “It was a very hot summer day in downtown Los Angeles and a team of strangers filtered in one by one, all on time. Everyone showed up ready to work for 12 hours straight and though there was excitement, the mood was serious. The 1920's warehouse we met at was even hotter inside with just a few fans blowing in the room we set up in.”
She continued, “Everyone had a job to do and the focus was electric. The hair and makeup team helped me get ready as everyone else got the cameras, the lights, the shots, the sets, and the coffee ready. There was literally blood and sweat, but no tears. The first shot in the old fashioned rope elevator, I cut my finger trying to open the door and was sweating in the dresses all day. I thought my makeup was smearing but the beauty team kept me feeling like a rockstar.”
She added, “We all became one focused team, following the vision of director Alejandro Montoya Marin. Not only that, everyone gave this video everything they had (including me).” - source : Apple Music
