American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels dropped a new music video for "Uh Huh" on VEVO. Directed by Emil Nava and produced by MaryAnn Tanedo.
The song is her second single, and written by Michaels herself and Justin Tranter. It was released on June 11, 2017.
Her debut song "Issues" reached number 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 10 on the UK Singles chart.
Both songs are included on her upcoming debut album "Nervous System", which is due out July 28.
About the song, Julia Michaels explained;
“'Uh Huh' is about wanting the person you want to make the move. He hasn’t yet, so you’re like, ‘Shit, should I just do it myself?’ You don’t know how he feels though. It’s this weird tension. When that move does happen, it’s the most magical and pure feeling in the world. That’s something we can all relate to.”-
She is known as a songwriter for Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Rita Ora, Nick Jonas and more.
Recently, she penned Selena Gomez's "Bad Liar" and Astrid S' "Party's Over".
