Florence + The Machine Premieres Two New Songs “Moderation” & “Haunted House” on Apple Beats 1
British alt-pop band Florence + The Machine has unveiled two new songs “Moderation” and “Haunted House” on Zane Lowe Beats 1 radio show.
The band first performed “Moderation” in their live sets on January 12th, and the live version was leaked online.
“Moderation” was recorded during the sessions for their fourth studio album "High as Hope". But according to Florence Welch, the song was never included in the final cut because it didn’t fit the context of the album.
Finally, the band released the song along with the B-side “Haunted House” after the release of the album.
“Moderation” was written by Florence Welch, Doveman and James Ford. “Haunted House” was written by Florence Welch and Matthew Daniel Siskin.
The band is currently in the middle of an Australian tour, and they’re scheduled to trek around Europe this spring. The North American date for 2019 is a set at Governors Ball in New York City on June 1st.
