Somme Premieres New Music Video for “Broken Hearted Lovers”
Back in May, San Diego-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Jordan Cantor, aka Somme released her self-titled debut EP.
Five months later, she unveiled a new song “Broken Hearted Lovers” with accompanying music video, following the debut EP.
“I wrote this song shortly after a break up before I had even realized I was going through a break up,” Jordan Cantor said of the song. “It was at a time shortly before the emotions had started to set in, before the feelings of sadness and guilt had fully developed. Instead, the only thing on my mind was meeting new people, maybe getting a little too drunk, and dancing until the lights at the bar came on.”
The video was directed by Bia Jurema. In the clip, she danced with dancers.
“When I first showed this song to director Bia Jurema she got it,” the “Long Time” she said. “She knows me well and understood exactly what this song was about and what the video needed to portray.”
Somme is currently on tour with Flint Eastwood. Next up is at Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles on October 12th.
She will support of Eve 6's tour in November and December.
