Red Rosamond Premieres New Song “Don’t Let Our Love Go Cold”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Red Rosamond has released a new song "Don’t Let Our Love Go Cold". The song was premiered exclusively on Ultimate Music.
The track is taken from her forthcoming EP (yet-untitled), which is expected to be released later in 2017. It follows up "Damn" released last year.
Her music is like 60's rock and R&B sound. And the new song was inspired from "You Let My Love Grow Cold", which was released by 50's American singer Dinah Washington in 1952.
About the new song, she told Ultimate Music;
"One day, I was listening to Dinah Washington and her song 'You Let My Love Grow Cold' came on. I had just moved to Los Angeles from my home in Canada to write a new body of work. My lover at the time was traveling for work and had stopped communicating with me. Heartbroken, alone, and in a brand new city, Dinah’s song inspired me. My song is as much an homage to Dinah and her brilliance as it is the indication of the end of a love affair."-
