Lolo Zouaï Drops New Music Video for “Desert Rose”
Back in April 2019, New York-based singer-songwriter Lolo Zouaï released her debut album “High Highs to Low Lows”. Followed by, the deluxe version of the album was released last December.
From the album, she dropped a new music video for “Desert Rose” directed by Emilie Badenhorst.
The clip was shot in Morocco. She said of the video, “This is a story I've needed to tell my whole life. I'm so grateful that I was able to travel to North Africa and work with an amazing director and crew to create this video exactly as I saw it in my mind.”
The song's title means, “a rose-like crystal that forms in the desert of Algeria,” according to Lolo Zouaï herself, which is also "said to have healing properties.”
