Blithe Premieres New Song “Bad Habit”
London-based singer-songwriter Blithe Saxon, aka Blithe has delivered a new song “Bad Habit” via streaming music services.
The song will appear on her forthcoming debut EP, which is expected to be released in late 2018 or early 2019.
She co-wrote the song with Freedo and Lucy Pawws. The track is electronic pop sound with the popping beat and catchy chorus unlike previous song, which was hip-hop sound.
Blithe Saxon said of the song:
“I wrote ‘Bad Habit’ about addiction. It’s very personal and real to me but I wanted to make it playful. I’m the sort of person that will run back to bad things and people a million times in the name of love, even though I know it will end in destruction. I find foolishness in love all very romantic. One bad decision leads to another and that leads you back into the arms of someone you love and in the end it all falls apart and the cycle starts again.”
Blithe Saxon grew up in a suburban town and moved to London at the age of 16. She started her music career under her real name in 2016. But she debuted with her first song "Mission" as Blithe on September 21, 2018.- Debut song “Mission”:
